This policy explains how Sparkart Group, Inc. (“Sparkart,” “we,” “us”) handles information in Encore, the reporting product we provide to our clients. Mika is the assistant in Encore that answers your questions. Your organization’s agreement with Sparkart also governs its data. Where that agreement differs from this policy, the agreement controls.
What we collect
- Account details from sign-in: your name, email address, organization and role, and the sign-in method you use. Our sign-in provider confirms who you are. We do not store your password.
- Usage: the pages you open, the filters and views you save, the searches you run, the questions you ask Mika, when you do each of these, and technical details such as your browser, device and IP address.
- Your organization’s business data: the orders, shipments, inventory, sales, marketing and customer service records that reach Encore from your organization’s stores, our fulfillment systems and other connected services. These records can include personal information about your organization’s customers, such as names, email addresses and shipping addresses.
How we use it
We use this information:
- to sign you in and show you your organization’s data;
- to run, maintain, secure and support Encore;
- to answer the questions you ask Mika;
- to understand how Encore is used and to improve it;
- to send account and service messages, and the email alerts you choose;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We process your organization’s business data for your organization and only to provide Encore and our services to it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- People in your organization who have Encore accounts. They see your organization’s data and never another client’s.
- Service providers that help us run Encore, under contracts that limit how they use the information: hosting and cloud infrastructure, databases, sign-in and identity, email delivery, and the AI model provider that powers Mika.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Sparkart, our clients or others.
- A buyer or successor, if Sparkart is part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the same protections.
Retention
We keep account details while your account is open and for [period] after it closes. We keep your organization’s business data for as long as its agreement with Sparkart requires, then delete or return it as that agreement says. We keep usage records for [period]. Backups expire within [period]. We keep some records longer where the law requires it.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls that limit each organization’s data to its own accounts, and access only for Sparkart staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell your organization as the law and our agreement require.
Your choices
On the Account page you can update your name and sign-in methods, sign out of any device, and turn email alerts on or off. To see, correct, export or delete other personal information, contact your organization or us. Your organization controls its business data, so we pass requests about that data to your organization. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your personal information, and we will honor them as the law requires.
